We ensure our children are given a full medical evaluation
The Children's Advocacy Center of Central Texas proudly partners with Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Pediatric Forensic Medicine Program to provide children with a full medical evaluation. All of our evaluations are performed by a team of specially-trained providers at their specialized clinic. This is a vital component for the investigation process, as well as for fostering the health and well-being of the child.
Healing is powerful
Proper medical attention is critical during the child's healing process. While physical abuse may no longer be present, medical exams are still an important part of the healing process and a way for children to know things will be okay. The pediatric forensic medicine services offered at Baylor Scott & White McLane include:
